Files with the QFX Quicken Transfer extension are used to transfer data from one version of quicken to another. They are part of the Quicken financial software and are used to save the financial data imported into the software. It includes account balances, transactions, discounts and more information that is recorded in a standardized format.
The QFX format is Quicken's proprietary format, although it is similar to the open OFX format.
Sometimes, due to some errors, the QXF file cannot be imported into Quicken.
First of all, you should consider that the only financial data that can be imported and exported using the QXF file format is limited to accounts, non-investment and business account labels, categories, transactions, and scheduled transactions.
If you have some errors or difficulties when applying these steps, we recommend repeating them or in any case contacting Quicken Technical Support for more information.
